The stamp on Gandhiji features his saying:
" HATE THE SIN, LOVE THE SINNER"
Incidentally, this saying has also appeared on the Afghanistan Miniature Sheet issued on GANDHI in 1999.
Albert Einstein, who is featured on one of the stamps in the series, said this about Gandhiji:
" GENERATIONS MAY COME AND GO, BUT THE WORLD WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO BELIEVE THAT SUCH A MAN EXISTED IN FLESH AND BLOOD ON THE EARTH."
